Overwatch, the brand new IP created by World of Warcraft developer Blizzard, is the game that I will be sinking most of my time into for the coming months. Its fast and frantic, but also coordinated and team-based gameplay works really well, and the game keeps making me want to go back for more.
The game also features a wide variety of characters to choose from, each with distinct and unique abilities. Throughout my playtime, I have found my personal favorite hero to be Soldier: 76, as he can move around the map quickly and deploy Biotic Fields, which heal any players in the radius. Each character is also equipped with an Ultimate Ability, which is triggered when the player’s meter fills up. This attack is extremely powerful, and the bar can be filled quicker with the more kills the player gets. Soldier: 76’s Ultimate Ability is another reason why he is one of my favorite characters so far. 76’s ability allows him to use his tactical visor, and auto-lock to any of the enemies in his radius. Even though 76 is my favorite, every character has their own perks and reasons to play as them, and it is most definitely worth sinking hours into discovering what you can do with each character!
