While there were plenty of collectibles and different shirts for sale during New York Comic-Con this year, one of the fashion highlights for me had to come from Booth 302, where Po-Zu showed off designs from their brand new Star Wars license collaboration. Offering fresh styles based on iconic characters and logos from the films for men, women, and children sizes, the booth had everything fans need to suit up for the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which debuts this December.
My favorite shoe that was shown off at the booth had to be the orange sneaker which was inspired by Rey’s iconic droid sidekick, BB-8, who first debuted in 2015’s smash hit The Force Awakens. Along with this design, a special leather hi-boot inspired by Rey’s signature knee boots was shown off at the booth. Finally, for fans of a more classic Star Wars feel, a personal stand-out for me was definitely the inclusion of the Rebel Alliance logo on the shoe branded “The Resistance.” The vegan sneaker encapsulates the design and essence of the Rebel Alliance, and provides a comfortable fit. The Po-Zu booth was a smash-hit at NYCC 2017, and make sure to keep a look out for more coverage about their products here on our site! For more on NYCC 2017, keep it here on NYCityGuys!
