As a major fan of The Walking Dead, the Image Comics booth was definitely a highlight of my experience while on the show floor at New York Comic-Con 2017. From the t-shirts to the exclusive items to the little things, like the official Walking Dead Lucille Ballpoint Pen, it was an awesome time getting to check out Booth 1444! Featuring Skybound exclusive items such as the “All Out War” Ezekiel and Shiva two-pack, along with the 6-inch Beta action figure, available in both color and black and white, the Image Comics booth was a big success for Walking Dead fans. The San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive “Shiva Force Box Set,” was also available at the booth in limited quantities. Alongside this G.I. Joe-style box set, there were many other items for Walking Dead fans to pick up.
Another item found at the Image Comics booth was the new comic The Walking Dead: Here’s Negan, which explores the backstory of one of Robert Kirkman’s fiercest villains to date. Also for fans of Negan, showgoers could purchase their own official Walking Dead 34″ Lucille Replica Bat. There was also some clothing sold at the booth, including an “All Out War” t-shirt and some merchandise from other Image and Skybound properties. You can check out some pictures from the booth below.
Overall, the Image Comics Booth was one of my favorites on the show floor at New York Comic-Con, as it offered some variety on the classic products one would expect, especially from The Walking Dead license. For more on The Walking Dead, keep it here on NYCityGuys!
