This year at New York Toy Fair, NECA showed off a collection of products from a variety of properties. Some of the highlights included looks at their upcoming Predator: Badlands line, alongside blind box figures from key moments in the Chucky franchise, and a new look at everyone’s favorite clowns from Terrifier and IT: Welcome to Derry. NECA’s booth also featured some unexpected new ventures into the gaming world, showcasing figures from the horror-centric Fortnitemares, alongside Dead by Daylight.
Dead by Daylight has been a major player in the horror gaming world for nearly 10 years, and it’s only right to give the franchise some figure representation. With killer designs on-par with those found in iconic slasher films, NECA debuted their Dead by Daylight line in showing off their upcoming Trapper figure. The figure, which is set to release by the end of the year, features the Trapper’s iconic mask, which also makes up a lot of the game’s marketing images. The figure looks like he just made his way out of the screen, including all of the tools necessary for him to get the job done. Alongside the figure itself, NECA’s Trapper includes his iconic bear trap mechanic which he utilizes in the game, alongside his bloodied cleaver weapon. This figure was one of the major standouts from their booth, and was a major surprise to their lineup.
Fortnitemares is an in-game, Halloween-themed event that takes place in Epic Games’ Fortnite. The yearly event showcases spooky-related items and character skins, and in recent years has featured a variety of iconic horror properties. With their ever-expanding list of characters being added to the game, NECA has launched their new Fortnitemares line, including Michael Myers from the Halloween series, Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Billy the Puppet from SAW, all of which have appeared in the Fortnite world. Each figure includes their signature item the in-game skin uses, and they all have the stylization of their Fortnite counterparts. Upon discussing the figures at their Toy Fair booth, a representative for NECA also stated that these figures will likely include an in-game code of sorts to unlock something within the Fortnite game. Whether that will be a skin, gun wrap, or something else is yet to be determined, but a code will be included on top of the already-detailed figure itself.
Predator: Badlands was one of my favorite films of 2025 and that was no secret. Ever since the movie first released, it wasn’t a question of “if,” but instead “when” NECA would be showing off their complete figure line for the series. With incredible detail, a ton of accessories, and including basically the entire movie’s cast, the Badlands line did not disappoint at all, and excels in all the places that longtime Predator collectors and new fans of the series can appreciate. Both figures of the film’s main character Dek look great as well, and the figure based on his final battle look from the movie is a stand-out in the line. The Badlands figures are some of my favorites that I’ve seen from anything in the Predator line at this point, and they’re an impressive showcase in how much detail figures can have in this scale.
IT: Welcome to Derry has been one of the biggest moments in horror for the last few months, so it came as no surprise to see these ultra-detailed figures from NECA at their booth. Featuring his new look from the series, a completely blood-soaked design, NECA’s new Pennywise figures are a perfect addition to their already-extensive collection. Alongside the blood-soaked figure, they also offered a look at their Ultimate Bob Gray as Pennywise figure, based on his appearance in the series before he becomes the feral dancing clown that terrorizes the people of Derry every 27 years. Finally, they showed off their new Ultimate Pennywise based on his appearance in the series, which includes many of the accessories featured on the show, specifically his iconic smile as an alternate headsculpt along with…someone else’s head which was a key moment in his re-introduction to the world of Derry.

Overall, NECA’s booth had a lot to offer from a variety of properties. It was one of the major highlights from this year’s Toy Far event, and it’s exciting to take a look at all the upcoming horror products that they’ll be offering throughout 2026 into the next year.
