Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers Review!

Battle CrashersAfter Uncle Grandpa opens up a rift in the universe, he now finds himself in the middle of a battle that takes place across the worlds of characters from many Cartoon Network, including familiar faces such as Finn & Jake from Adventure Time, Mordecai & Rigby from Regular Show, and many more! Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is a thrilling arcade-style beat ’em up adventure game with visuals that make the player feel like they are in the center of one of the biggest television crossover episodes ever.

Battle Crashers

Battle Crashers is an enjoyable ride, as players find themselves traveling through the worlds of Adventure Time, Regular Show, Uncle Grandpa, Steven Universe, Clarence, and The Amazing World of Gumball. It was cool to see some of these characters make their way into the gaming universe. Previously we have seen the Adventure Time Regular Show universes present in their own solo games, but this is the first time that a series like Steven Universe has made its way to consoles.

Battle Crashers

As an arcade brawler, Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is awesome. It’s extremely easy to switch between the characters, as the controls are mapped to the left and right bumpers on the Xbox One controller. For most of my time, I played as the Finn & Jake combo, but it was cool to switch it up & try out characters like Steven Universe & Gumball, as they had different moves and different abilities to be explored.

Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers is a highly replayable arcade-style beat ’em up, and it’s awesome to check out whether you’re playing single player or trying it with three of your friends! It was a great experience to explore the worlds of Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Adventure Time  (just to name a few) throughout the course of the game. I would definitely recommend the game to any fans of the shows currently running on Cartoon Network, as this is a great chance to see them all together in one massive event! The game is an absolute blast for fans of the franchises, and an experience that shouldn’t be missed! For all your reviews and everything Cartoon Network related, make sure to keep it here on NYCityGuys!
